US: Mayor Eric Adams Joins Pride Parade in NYC

New Yorkers gathered for an LGBTQ+ Pride parade on Fifth Avenue on Sunday, June 29, where Mayor Eric Adams joined the march but received a mixed reception, including some boos and negative reactions. The celebration, however, ended tragically near the historic Stonewall Inn with a shooting that injured two teenage girls, one critically.
